Iowa Medicaid Program

Medical Assistance is a publicly funded health care program implemented for very low-income individuals, children who need financial support, parents with children, seniors, people with disabilities and pregnant women. Medical Assistance is paid by federal and state dollars. Certain criteria of income and other requirements are to be fulfilled, in order to be eligible to claim Medicaid. Medicaid is one of the largest health care providers in Iowa. The Iowa Medicaid Program is administered by the Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (IME).

Iowa is committed to serve the seniors and people in need with superior quality and efficiently staffed nursing homes.
